Softball Releases Upcoming Promotions

SEATTLE - The No. 3 Washington softball team hosts its first Pac-10 action this weekend when the No. 9 Arizona Wildcats and No. 4 Arizona State Sun Devils travel to Husky Softball Stadium.
There will be plenty going on this and every other weekend through the end of the season on top of the exciting action on the field. This Friday's 1 p.m. game against Arizona is $1 Hot Dog Day. There will also be a 'Spring Break Special' on outfield bleacher seats which will go for just $2.
The following day, UW hosts defending national champion Arizona State at 3 p.m., where the first 500 fans will receive trading cards of the Husky freshmen. Additionally, there will be a pre-game ceremony recognizing former season-ticket holder and long-time softball supporter Marlin Binger, who passed away recently.
Sunday at Noon the Huskies once again take on the Sun Devils with the Husky band in attendance and the first 300 fans will receive free Husky/Pepsi rally rags. Sunday is also autograph day with fans having the opportunity to get signatures of all their favorite Huskies following the game.
The Huskies will hit the road for nearly a month before returning home May 2 to host Oregon at 3 p.m. That day will be 'Real Dawgs Wear Purple & Pink' day, with all fans encouraged to wear pink in support of cancer awareness. The first 300 fans will receive pink Husky t-shirts.
The following day, when the Huskies play Oregon again at Noon, trading cards of the sophomores and juniors will be handed out to the first 500 fans.
UW's final home stand of the season comes May 7-9 against Stanford and Cal. On Friday, May 8 at 3 p.m., the first 300 fans will receive Husky buffs (bandanas). The following day is Senior Day, with seven Husky seniors playing their final regular-season home game against Cal at Noon. The first 500 fans will receive trading cards of the seven seniors.
