Munoz Makes Cut at Kraft Nabisco Championship

Arizona State senior Azahara Munoz is expected to make the 36-hole cut following the second round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Munoz finished tied for 18th after carding 1-over 145 (71-74). Munoz is one of five amateurs playing in the LPGA event.

Munoz kept her composure after struggling on hole six, resulting in a triple-bogey. The reigning NCAA made up ground on hole 11 and hole 15, knocking in birdies in each. With a bogey on hole 16, Munoz finished the day 2-over.

Jennifer Johnson, who is signed and slated to come to ASU next fall, narrowly missed the cut. The California native carded a 9-over 153 (77-76). ASU alum Jimin Kang wrapped up the second round tied for fifth. Kang shot a 3-under 141 (71-70) over the two rounds. ASU Hall-of-Famer Wend
