Cal Baseball Falls at No. 19 Oregon State, 6-2

CORVALLIS, ORE. - Similar to the day before, the California baseball team jumped to an early lead, but yielded a big inning to No. 19-ranked Oregon State, losing, 6-2, Saturday in a Pac-10 game in Corvallis. The Golden Bears, who had a 1-0 lead when junior center fielder Brett Jackson hit a home run to left field on the second pitched of the game, fell to 15-13 overall and 3-5 in conference. Oregon State improved to 17-6 and 4-1 in league play.
