The Butler Did It!

April 14, 2009

Corvallis, Ore. -

He wasn’t supposed to be there, but luckily defensive end Victor Strong-Butler drifted into the Reser Stadium endzone and intercepted Rudy Carpenter’s game-tying two-point conversion pass attempt and the Beavers prevailed 27-25 over Arizona State in one of the best games of the season.

Jacquizz Rodgers had 133 yards rushing and Shane Morales had two touchdown receptions as the Beavers moved to 4-1 in the conference with their third straight victory.

You can relive the game by subscribing to Beaver Nation Online and watching the FSN Northwest broadcast in its entirety.
