UW Baseball Hosts Portland Tuesday

SEATTLE - The Washington baseball team returns to Seattle for a brief stop before heading back out on the road this weekend. Today, the Huskies play host to Portland in a 3:00 p.m. game at sunny Husky Ballpark.
The Huskies (14-22 overall and 4-8 in the Pac-10 Conference) will send left-handed sophomore Ben Guidos (1-2, 5.46) to the mound vs. the Pilots, who will counter with senior right-hander Mark Triolo (4-5, 5.05).

The Dawgs return to the road this weekend, as they'll make their first trip to Eugene, Ore., since the final weekend of the 1981 season, after which the Oregon Ducks dropped their program.
The Huskies will face the Ducks (13-24, 3-9) in a three-game series Friday through Sunday. Friday's game is at 3:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, first pitch is slated for 1:00 p.m.
All three games from Oregon will air live on KKNW AM-1150. Fans can also listen via a link on the front page of gohuskies.com. Additionally, the Saturday and Sunday games will air live on Comcast SportsNet television, which is found at channel 179 on most Puget-Sound area Comcast cable lineups.
