STANFORD, Calif.- Stanford's doubles team of Isamarie Perez and Jennifer Yen dropped an 8-2 decision in the title match of the invitational division on Sunday afternoon at the Pac-10 Championships in Ojai, Calif.

Playing together for the first time this year, the team of Perez and Yen won three consecutive hard-fought contests just to reach Sunday's final.

However, the duo was defeated by UCLA's Maya Johansson and Anna-Viktoria Lind.

Perez was playing in her first event of the year while Yen had recorded a 10-7 doubles record this season with four different partners.

Stanford will learn its postseason fate on Tuesday, Apr. 28, when the NCAA Tournament field is announced. NCAA Tournament first and second round competition is scheduled for May 8-10 at select campus sites. The final 16 teams advance to College Station, Texas, for the NCAA Championships.
