Bears Close Spring at Santa Clara Tournament

BERKELEY - The California volleyball team will complete spring competition with a four-match tournament this Saturday, May 2, at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, Calif. The Golden Bears will take on host Santa Clara University along with two-set matches against Saint Mary's College, San Francisco and San Francisco State. Stanford will also see the same opponents as the sixth team invited to the one-day tournament.

Cal opens the day with SMC at 8:30 a.m.; followed by SFSU at 10:30 a.m. After the lunch break, the Bears will face USF at 1 p.m. before closing out the day with a 2 p.m. match against Santa Clara. Each team will play four opponents in two 25-point sets with not deciding third set.
