Wallace broke a 2-2 tie in the fifth with the round-tripper and later drove in his career-best fifth RBI on a sacrifice fly. Wallace and three others - Ryan Ortiz, Jared Norris and Adalberto Santos - had two hits apiece to pace the OSU attack. Sam Gaviglio won for the sixth time this season after going five full innings in his second career start.
Not The First Meeting
OSU and ASU met on Feb. 28 in Tempe in the fifth game of the season for the Beavers. OSU held a 3-0 lead after three, but the Sun Devils managed a 6-3 win. Stefen Romero drove in two for the Beavers in the loss.
More Against Arizona State
Joey Wong is batting .333 (11-for-33) with two home runs and 10 RBI in his career against Arizona State. He was 1-for-3 with a run scored against the Sun Devils earlier this season.

Notes Of Importance
Arizona State is ranked third in Baseball America's Top 25 this week. The Beavers last faced a top-25 club when facing No. 12 Oklahoma State on March 6.
OSU is 1-2 against top 25 teams this season.
The Beavers have not committed an error in five of their last seven games. One of the two they did saw five errors from Oregon State (Sunday against UCLA).
Sam Gaviglio, who threw Tuesday and is available for relief work this weekend, is tied for third in the Pac-10 with six wins this season.
Gaviglio's six wins is two ahead of last year's team leader, which was shared by three players who all had four.
In the first game of the season between OSU and ASU, the Beavers had their Nos. 2, 4 and 5 batters face the Sun Devils for the first time.
