What are your goals for the rest of the season?
Our goals for the rest of the season are to win our next couple of matches and advance to the final rounds of the NCAA tournament.

On my iPod is Eminem, Kid Cudi, Akon, Dr.Dre, MGMT, and some Brazilian music.

I would love to trade places for a day with...
I would love to trade places with Leonardo DiCaprio one day because he used to be with Gisele Bundchen and now he's with Bar Rafaeli. Come on!

My favorite team to watch as a kid was...
My favorite team to watch growing up was Santos because I'm a huge soccer fan.

My favorite athlete to watch is...
My favorite athlete to watch is Guga because I had the chance to meet him a couple of times and he is a great guy.

The super power I'd most like to have is...The super power I would most like to have is the ability to fly... and fly fast! Flying home always takes too long.

My favorite memory as a Bear is...
My favorite memory is when we beat Oklahoma State in Tulsa, Okla., when I was a freshman. It was one of our first matches of the year and we came back to win after being down by a lot.

The attribute I most like about myself is...
The attribute I most like about myself is that I try to do my best in everything I do because I think that's important not only in tennis, but in life as well.

My plans after college are...
My plans for after college are to get a job! I would love to try and play on the pro tour, but there is still a lot to improve on if I want to do that.

The best thing about Cal is...
The best thing about Cal is playing tennis in the Pac-10 Conference. That, and meeting people from all over the world because of the diversity of the campus.

My funniest teammate is...
My funniest teammate is Tommie Murphy. T-Murph makes me laugh a lot and his accent is great.

The sport I'm the worst at is...
The sport I am the worst at is basketball because I haven't spent enough time watching my native Brazilian stars like Nene, Leandrinho and Varejao this year to see how it's done. Bozhidar Katsarov is worse than I am though.

Something about me that others would be surprised to hear is...
Something about me that others would be surprised to know is that I pretty much cannot eat anything green. I can do a green apple or melon here and there but I'm not a big fan of vegetables. As a Brazilian though, I love meat.

The best advice I've received was...
The best advice I've received came from a song. It says, 'Sometimes you've got to dig deep when problems come near. Don't fear, things get severe for everybody, everywhere. No man is untouchable, no one is bulletproof.'

My biggest fear is...
My biggest fear is snakes. I don't know why, but I hate them!

What do you miss most about Brazil and why?
I miss the food, my family, and my friends because those are three unique things about home.
