CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State baseball team will open its three-game series with Washington at Safeco Field in a 6:30 p.m. PT start Friday night.
For those fans who can't see the game from the home of Major League Baseball's Seattle Mariners, the game will air live on Comcast SportsNet in the states of Oregon and Washington. It will be the third time this season the Beavers are scheduled to play on television and carry a 2-0 record into the game. Both previous TV broadcasts came during Oregon State's three-game conference series with Oregon.
The game will be replayed live a number of times. The first re-broadcast of the game is scheduled for Saturday at 10:30 p.m. PT. Other broadcasts will be at 7 p.m. on Sunday and 7 a.m. on Monday.
Corvallis residents can watch the game on channel 37 on Comcast cable. For other areas in Oregon and Washington, make sure to check your local listings.
The teams set a then-Pac-10 record crowd of 10,421 when they opened their three-game series at Safeco Field. Washington won that game, 6-2, and eventually the series, but the Beavers later won their second of two straight national titles.
The series will continue Saturday at Washington's ballpark in a 2 p.m. start. Sunday's finale takes place at 1 p.m.
