Oregon State wrapped up its regular season by defeating Stanford, 5-2, on Sunday in California. Tyler Waldron improved to 6-3 this season after going 6 2/3 innings against the Cardinal, scattering five hits and two runs. Koa Kahalehoe drove in two with a bases-clearing double in the seventh.

Oregon State head coach Pat Casey has a 27-6 (.818) record in the postseason, easily leading the program in wins. Prior to Casey's arrival, the Beavers had a 5-12 record in six previous NCAA Tournament appearances.
Last 15 Games
The last 15 games are often cited by the NCAA selection committee as important when the tournament field is selected. The Beavers left nothing to chance this season, going 10-5 in their last 15. OSU's pitchers posted a 3.75 ERA during that stretch.
