Cougar Women's Basketball Set to Host Free Clinics

PULLMAN - Washington State University women's basketball Head Coach June Daugherty is proud to announce that the Cougar women's basketball program will be putting on a series of free youth clinics this fall on the beautiful WSU campus.
Participants will receive instruction from Pacific-10 Conference coaches and student-athletes in areas including fundamentals, skill development and competition - completely free of charge.
'As collegiate coaches at WSU, we appreciate the support our community provides for us,' Daugherty said. 'We firmly believe we have a responsibility to serve as educators for our area youth, and these clinics will provide a wonderful educational and athletic opportunity for our neighbors here on the Palouse.'
Beginning Sunday, Sept. 13, clinics for both boys and girls will be held at Bohler Gym. Girls in grades first through eighth, and boys in grades first through sixth are all invited to attend the free clinics.

'Providing cost-free clinics is made possible through the generous donations from our sponsors,' Daugherty said. 'Please come join the WSU Athletic Department for a fun basketball experience taught by Cougar coaches and players. I look forward to welcoming you to campus and playing Cougar basketball together.'
