U.S. National Team Camp Wrap Up
June 12, 2009
Hello again Wildcat Fans!
Well the tryout is officially over, but it has been a fun-filled week full of experiences that I will never forget! I had a lot of fun at the tryout and definitely learned a lot from a lot of the veterans.
There was so much talent at the camp; the U.S. Team is going to be amazing this summer with whoever they pick on the team! I know that everyone here got along really well and I really wish we could spend some more days together because its fun to play with people you have never played with before. But on Monday, we will all find out who made the team.
In case some of you fans don't know, they are making two teams for the summer. One is the national team and one is the elite team. The national team will be competing in the 2009 KFC World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City and the Canada Cup. Then they will be split up; half will join half of the elite team in Venezuela, and the other half will join the other half of the elite team in Japan. The final announcement of the list will be on Monday at 10 a.m. Tucson time for all of you who wanted to know!
But all in all, this has just been an amazing experience I will carry with me forever and I have enjoyed every minute I have spent here with all these talented people!
