Cougar Baseball Announces 2009 Alumni Weekend

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University baseball team will hold its annual alumni weekend Sept. 4-6, Cougar Head Coach Donnie Marbut announced, Friday.

The festivities begin Friday, Sept. 4 with a golf tournament at Palouse Ridge Golf Club. Registration and check-in begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start for the tournament slated for 2 p.m.

There will be a dinner social at 7 p.m. with dinner and an auction at 7:30 p.m. The evening activities will be held hosted by Banyan's Restaurant at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club.

The Cougar Alumni Game takes place Saturday, Sept. 5. Members of the WSU alumni will take on the 2010 Cougar baseball team, also known as 'Rookies.' There will also be a tailgate prior to the Cougar football team taking on Stanford. Both the football game and alumni baseball game start times are TBA.

The will be a breakfast at the Bailey-Brayton practice field, Sunday, Sept. 6 followed by a Crimson vs. Gray scrimmage at Bailey-Brayton Field.
