Cross Country Annouces 2009 Competition Schedule

The UCLA cross country teams have announced their schedules for the upcoming 2009 season. The Bruins are slated to compete in Utah, New Mexico, Indiana and Oregon, along with meets in California.

The Bruins open up their season in Provo, Utah at the BYU Autumn Classic September 5 and then will take three weeks off before returning to competition in Albuquerque, New Mexico (Sept. 26) at the Lobo Invitational. UCLA will then head to the Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend on October 2.

A two week break will lead up to the women's team heading to the Cal Poly Invitational in San Luis Obispo, while the men's team will head to Terre Haute, Indiana and the prestigious Pre-NCAA Invitational (October 17).

The post-season will begin October 31 in Long Beach at the Pac-10 Championships, followed by the NCAA West Regional in Eugene, OR (November 14). The 2009 season wraps up in Terre Haute, IN November 23 with the NCAA Championships.

Nov. 14 - NCAA West Regional Championships (Eugene, OR)
Nov. 23 - NCAA Championships (Terre Haute, IN)
