Four Stanford Players Earn NGCA Academic All-America Honors

STANFORD, Calif. - Four Stanford Players Earn NGCA Academic All-America Honors

The National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar teams for Division I, II and III were announced today and four Stanford student-athletes were included among the total of 140 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.

Earning spots on the 2008-2009 NGCA All-America Scholar Team for Division I were seniors Mari Chun (Japanese Language), Ki-Shui Liao (communications), sophomore Rebecca Durham (psychology) and freshman Sydney Burlison (undeclared).

The National Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. Today, the NGCA represents nearly 500 coaches throughout the nation and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
