WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Stanford oarswoman Grace Luczak earned a USRowing Under 23 National Team berth by virtue of winning the women's pair race at the Under 23 World Championship Trials in West Windsor, N.J. Luczak teamed up with Mary Jeghers to claim victory in the women's pair race with a time of 8:01.859.

The victory gives the pair the right to represent the United States at the FISA World Rowing Under 23 Championships, set to take place July 23-26 in Racice, Czech Republic. Luczak and Jeghers represented the Under 23 Selection Camp in the trials.

Luczak, who just finished her sophomore season at Stanford after transferring from Michigan, was named a second-team CRCA Pocock All-American in 2009 after rowing in the No. 4 seat for the national champion I Eight Cardinal boat. Her efforts also helped Stanford capture its first-ever women's rowing national championship.
