Cross Country Announces 2009 Schedule

Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State women’s cross country team is pleased to reveal its 2009 schedule, announced Thursday by head coach Kelly Sullivan.
The 2009 campaign begins at Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Ore., in a three-way meet between the Beavers, Oregon and Portland State on Friday, Sept. 4.
Oregon State then heads to Seattle to compete in the Sundodger Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington, on September 19, before heading to the Linfield Invitational in McMinnville, Ore., the following week. The Beavers head back down south for the Bill Dellinger Invitational in Springfield, Ore., the next Friday before taking a bye week.
Beaver runners resume competition at the Mike Hodges Invitational, hosted by Clackamas Community College, followed by the annual OSU Beaver Classic at Avery Park in Corvallis on October 24.
Postseason action follows with the Pac-10 Championships, held in Long Beach, Calif., on Saturday, Oct. 31. The NCAA West Regional will be hosted by Oregon at the Springfield Country Club on Saturday, Nov. 14, before the entire cross country season is wrapped up at the NCAA Championships on Monday, Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
