Caton and Rodriguez Join Pac-10 Staff

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- The Pacific-10 Conference has named Rachel Caton and Victor Rodriguez as the 2009-10 Communications Interns, Commissioner Larry Scott announced today.
Caton is a native of Fullerton, Calif., and a 2009 graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Communications and a minor in News, Media and Society. While at USC, Caton was a student assistant in the sports information department, publicizing, among other sports, women's rowing. In addition to assisting with the 2009 Pac-10 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments, she also contributed to the success of several NCAA postseason championships hosted by USC. Caton also served summer internships with the Los Angeles Galaxy (2008), Los Angeles Dodgers (2007), and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Baseball Team (2005 and 2004).
Rodriguez is a native of Tucson, Ariz., and a 2009 graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Communications and a minor in Psychology. While at Arizona, he was a student assistant in the sports information department, publicizing, among other sports, women's soccer and men's tennis. In addition, he assisted with media operations at the 2009 Pac-10 Men's Basketball Tournament. While completing his degree, Rodriguez also coached junior varsity basketball at Tucson Rincon High School for two seasons.
