Stanford to Hold First Five Practice Sessions at Palo Alto High School

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford will hold its first five practice sessions of its 2009 fall training camp at nearby Palo Alto High School, the alma mater of Cardinal head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The Cardinal will work out Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday's practice is expected to move back to Elliott Field on the Stanford campus.

Workouts are open to the public.

Stanford opens the 2009 season on Sept. 5 against the Washington State Cougars in Pullman, Wash. After traveling to Winston-Salem, N.C. to take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in week two, the Cardinal will open its 2009 home schedule on Sept. 19 against the San Jose State Spartans at Stanford Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.
