VIDEO PREVIEW: Taking a Look at Stanford's Secondary

Aug. 22, 2009

STANFORD, Calif.-- Stanford can draw upon plenty of options among its secondary personnel to strengthen a pass defense that allowed 226.7 yards a game last season.

Fifth-year senior Bo McNally, who has led the team in tackles each of the last two seasons, returns to his free safety position. McNally's
veteran leadership will be imperative to this unit that projects three new faces in starting roles in Delano Howell (strong safety), Richard
Sherman (left cornerback) and Corey Gatewood (right cornerback).

Head coach Jim Harbaugh and defensive backs coach Clayton White preview Stanford's secondary heading into the 2009 season.
