Jeff Tedford To Appear On CSN Bay Area's Chronicle Live Tuesday

SAN FRANCISCO - Cal football head coach Jeff Tedford will be a guest on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area's Chronicle Live program this Tuesday, August 25. The show airs from 5-6 p.m. and will be rebroadcast from 11 p.m.-midnight.

Other in-studio guests on Tuesday's show hosted by Greg Papa are scheduled to include Dennis Green, head coach of the California Redwoods in the new United Football League, as well as local columnists Ann Killion of CSN Bay Area and Monte Poole of the Oakland Tribune. Music legend Carlos Santana and San Francisco Giants beat writer Henry Schulman are expected to check in from AT&T Park prior to Tuesday's MLB game between the Giants and Diamondbacks.

Tedford, a two-time Pac-10 Coach of the Year, has a 59-30 record in his first seven seasons in Berkeley with six bowl berths and five post-season victories at Cal on his resume.

Cal is enjoying an off-day Tuesday before resuming preparations for its season-opener now only 11 days away with a nationally televised ESPN2 contest against Maryland at Memorial Stadium scheduled for Saturday, September 5 (7 p.m.).
