Mackenzie Makes Cut At LPGA Event

Portland, Ore. -- Former Husky All-American golfer Paige Mackenzie is tied for 27th at the LPGA Safeway Classic after finishing the first two rounds at 3-under overall.
Mackenzie shot a 1-under-par 71 on Saturday after shooting a 2-under 70 on Friday to safely make the cut for Sunday's final round at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore. Mackenzie made the cut for the fifth time this year.
Anna Nordquist leads the field at 10-under overall.
Fellow Husky alum Louise Friberg failed to make the cut and ended the tournament tied for 124th at 8-over 152.
Mackenzie will tee off on Sunday at 7:45 a.m.
