Season Tickets for Men's and Women's Basketball on Sale Tuesday

CORVALLIS, Ore. - Season ticket packages for the 2009-10 Oregon State men's and women's basketball seasons will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, September 1, the athletic department announced on Monday.

The men's basketball season-ticket package features 17 games this season as the Beavers look to build on last year's College Basketball Invitational championship run. Seating assignments will not be available at the time of purchase.

Season tickets in the chairback sections are $342 for the general public and $273 for OSU faculty/staff, members of the Varsity O club and purchasers under the age of 30. A BASF donation is required based on location for chairback seating. In addition, donations made to the BASF annual fund for football season tickets are applied to basketball season tickets. Season tickets in other areas of the arena are $212 or $149 for the top five rows of Gill Coliseum.

Once again, Oregon State will offer additional season ticket options for fans, including the popular Weekend Plan and the Orange Pride 5 Pack, where fans can pick two non-conference games and three Pac-10 Conference games for $75. The popular Weekend Plan to fans includes one ticket to 11 home basketball games for $133. The opponents for the Weekend Plan include the two exhibition games as well as regular season contests with Sacramento State, Colorado, Cal State Bakersfield, Mississippi Valley State, Arizona State, UCLA, Oregon, Stanford and Washington.

Single-game tickets for men's basketball will go on sale to the general public on September 28. Prices are $25 for chairback seating and $15 for upper level bench seats. Tickets to the two exhibition contests are $12 and $7 respectively, as tickets to the game against Oregon are $27 for all areas of the arena.

In addition to the men's season ticket packages, tickets for the 2009-10 Oregon State women's basketball season will also go on sale Tuesday. The Beavers offer several options for the year, including season tickets, mini-plans and single-game tickets. Seating assignments will not be available at the time of purchase.

Reserved season tickets will be made available to the public at $100. OSU Faculty and Staff and senior citizens (ages 62 and up) can purchase reserved season tickets at $80, although there is a limit of two per person.

General admission season tickets cost $80 for adults and $40 for senior/youth (youth is ages three to 18).Also available is the Pac-10 Conference package. The Pac-10 package includes one ticket to each of the team's nine conference games at Gill Coliseum. Reserved tickets for the Pac-10 package are $56 while general admission tickets cost $45.

Individual-game tickets will also be made available to the public on September 28. Reserved tickets are priced at $10, while general admission for adults is $7 and senior/youth is $5.

Tickets for the 2009-10 men's and women's basketball seasons can be purchased online at www.osubeavers.com or by calling 1-800-GO-BEAVS. Tickets may also be purchased by visiting the OSU Athletic Ticket Office located at legendary Gill Coliseum. Ticket office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
