Rickey Claitt Signs Porfessional Contract with Horsens IC

HORSENS, Denmark - Former Oregon State men's basketball player Rickey Claitt has signed an overseas professional contract with Horsens IC, the organization announced on Tuesday. Horsens IC is a member of the Denmark-Basketligaen league.
Claitt recently completed his Oregon State career as he helped lead Oregon State to the 2009 College Basketball Invitational championship. The point guard averaged 7.4 points and 2.6 assists as a senior while hitting 55.9 percent of his shots from the floor. Claitt ranked among the league's best in field-goal percentage, three-point percentage (47.1) and minutes played (33.4 minutes per game).
In game three of the CBI championship series against UTEP, Claitt scored a career-high 28 points on 8-of-9 from the floor, including 5-of-6 from behind the three-point arc.
For his career, Claitt averaged 5.4 points per game while appearing in 67 contests over two seasons.
Horsens IC is a four-time Danish league champion, last winning the title in 2006, and advanced to the Danish Cup finals in 2008.
