Lightning Stops Second Round at Tucker Intercollegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. - A lightning delay halted the second round Friday at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate. The Arizona men's golf team was in 12th place at the time play was suspended.
The second round will resume at 7:30 a.m. MDT Saturday with the final round following immediately.
Arizona was led by junior Tarquin MacManus, who stands at two-under par midway through the second round. MacManus carded a first-round 71 and is currently in a tie for 10th place. He is the lone Wildcat under par.
Two UA players competing as individuals, Tom Conran and Kenji Hernandez, are tied fro 51st and 55th places, respectively. Hernandez posted a one-under 71 in the first round, which was one of two under-par rounds for the Cats on Friday.
The 55th annual William H. Tucker Intercollegiate is contested at the UNM Championship Course, a par-72, 7,562-yard layout.
