Kickoff, TV Set For UA-OSU Game
Sept. 14, 2009
TUCSON, Ariz. – The Pacific-10 Conference today announced the kickoff time and broadcast information for Arizona’s conference opener at Oregon State on Saturday, September 26.
The Wildcats and Beavers will open their respective Pac-10 seasons in Corvallis, Ore., at 4:30 p.m. (PT) in a game that will be televised nationally by the Versus network. Each school is concluding the non-conference portion of its schedule this week, with Arizona traveling to Iowa and Oregon State hosting No. 17 Cincinnati.
Last season, Versus televised two UA football games, including the Wildcats’ 48-14 win over Washington and the 19-17 loss to Oregon State. Both games were in Tucson.
The Pac-10 opening game will be the fourth this season televised for the Wildcats. A season ago, UA’s opening two games were not televised.
Arizona will travel to Iowa City this weekend to square off against the Hawkeyes in a key Big Ten/Pac-10 showdown. Both squads are 2-0 on the season and looking to conclude their non-conference schedules on a high note.
The game is being televised regionally on ABC (check local listings). In areas where the game is not broadcast on ABC, it will be shown live on ESPN2. Mike Patrick and Craig James will call the action at Kinnick Stadium.
