Stanford Volleyball Announces Promotions For 2009 Home Schedule

The 2009 Stanford women's volleyball 11-match home schedule will feature numerous promotions this season, including several admission discounts. All groups of 10 or more can also enjoy discounted rates and have the option to benefit from new group only reserved seating in the north end zone.
Stanford's home openers take place this weekend, Friday, Sept. 18 versus San Francisco and Saturday, Sept. 19 against Saint Mary's. The first 1,000 fans to visit the Marketing Table on the Maples Concourse will receive a free magnet schedule card. Both matches will be a part of NSO Night where members will get free general admission by showing their NSO badge.
The Pac-10 home opener against Washington State on Oct. 9 will be tabbed Stanford Campus Night, where $2 general admission will be given to those with hospital, faculty or staff IDs. It will also be Camper Reunion Night as campers will get in free with coupon. Against Washington on Oct. 10, fans can stick around to get autographs from their favorite Cardinal players following the match.
Promotions will continue homecoming weekend against Arizona State and Arizona, Oct. 23 and Oct. 25. For the match with the Sun Devils, Stanford Alumni will receive $2 admission as part of Alumni Night. Fans who attend the Stanford football homecoming game against Arizona State on Oct. 24 can present their football ticket and earn free admission to the volleyball match against the Wildcats on Sunday.
Stanford will face USC on Oct. 30 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Against UCLA on Oct. 31, fans who show up in their Halloween costumes will receive $2 general admission for Halloween on the Farm. For the two matches with the Oregon schools, Nov. 13-14, the Cardinal will be holding a food drive. Fans who donate a canned good will get $2 general admission.
Stanford will close out the home season against Bay Area rival California on Nov. 27. Senior Night will honor the three seniors and will also be Super Spikers Night, where Super Spiker Clinic attendees will receive free admission.

Stanford Volleyball would also like to announce the 2009 Chalk Talk and Hospitality Room dates for members of the Buck Cardinal Club. Coach Dunning's chalk talks will take place at 5 p.m. in the Maples Media room prior to the team's matches with Washington (10/10), UCLA (10/31), Oregon State (11/14) and California (11/27). The postgame hospitality room will be in the Maples VIP room after the Cardinal take on Arizona (10/25) and Oregon State (11/14).
