No. 13 Golden Bears Win Fourth Straight in 3-1 Victory Over Gaels
BERKELEY - California volleyball senior outside hitter Hana Cutura logged her third double-double of the season with 25 kills and 14 digs as she led the 13th-ranked Golden Bears (6-3) to their fourth-consecutive victory. Cal defeated Saint Mary's College in four sets (25-14, 25-17, 21-25, 25-18) tonight (Sept. 18) in the 2009 Pac-10/WCC Challenge at Haas Pavilion. No. 12 Ducks Whack No. 9 Gophers in Five
DENVER – The No. 12 Oregon volleyball team raised its record to a perfect 9-0 mark with a 3-2 win over No. 9 Minnesota (7-3) Friday afternoon in the first match of the Pioneer Classic. [Read more]

Cal State Fullerton Stuns Seventh-Ranked UCLA in Five
FULLERTON, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton, which had won only two sets in its previous 28 matches against UCLA, stunned the seventh-ranked Bruins in five on Friday night at Titan Gym. Set scores were 25-23, 15-25, 25-20, 18-25, 16-14. Sophomore Amanda Gil

No. 15 USC Sweeps Portland, 3-0
LOS ANGELES -- Freshman Katie Fuller (Olivenhain/La Costa Canyon HS) led with a team-high 10 kills Friday as the No. 15 USC Women of Troy swept the Portland Pilots, 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-13), in a non-conference match at the Galen Center. No. 11 Stanford Volleyball Earns 3-1 Win Over USF
STANFORD, Calif. -- The No. 11 Stanford women's volleyball picked up a 25-18, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22 win over San Francisco Friday in the team's home opener at Maples Pavilion. Stanford had three players post double-digit kills as it improved its overall record to 6-3, while USF dropped to 5-6 on the year. The Cardinal are now 17-0 all-time against the Dons. [Read more]

Huskies Earn Another Tourney Title With Sweep


SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Washington closed out the non-conference tournament portion of its schedule this evening with a sweep of Middle Tennessee State, 25-15, 25-22, 25-7.
