Stanford Finishes 13th at Rain-Shortened Mason Rudolph Championships

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Stanford's women's golf team finished 13th at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championships hosted by Vanderbilt University at the Legends Golf Club in Franklin, Tenn.
The Cardinal finished with a team score of 580 after carding a 293 in today's final round and were 20 shots behind the pace set by first place USC.
USC All-American Jennifer Song won the event with a 12-under 132 after shooting back-to-back rounds of 66.
The event was shortened to 36 holes after heavy rains in the southeast forced cancellation of Saturday's scheduled second round.
Junior Rebecca Durham finished tied for 25th after a second round 73 left her with a 54 hole total of 143. She was even on her card today through 12 holes but double bogied the par four, 13th hole. However, she closed with a birdie on the par-5 18th hole to finish -1 for the tournament.
Senior Angela King shot a final round 75 after opening with a 70 and tied for 40th place with a 1-over 145.
Freshman Sally Watson, playing in her first collegiate event, shaved two strokes off her opening roun 74 to card a 72 today in a round that included three birdies on the back nine.
Sophomore Sydney Burlison turned in a pair of 73's on the Legends Course. She got off to a quick start today, collecting birdies on the first two holes and was three under on her round following another birdie on the 10th hole.
Freshman Kristina Wong tied for 67 after shooting rounds of 74 and 75 in her collegiate debut.
