Kyle Nakazawa Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Senior midfielder Kyle Nakazawa (Palos Verdes Estates, CA/Edison Academic Center) of the UCLA men's soccer team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 21-27.
Nakazawa, who was also named the National Player of the Week by both College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer, contributed to four of UCLA's five goals this weekend and scored the game-winners at San Diego and against UNLV. Against USD, he assisted on the game's first goal and then scored the game-winner on a penalty kick early in the second half. In the UNLV game, he broke a scoreless tie with his first goal of the contest in the 53rd minute and then scored a second goal in the 62nd minute. Nakazawa now leads the team in goals scored with four and in points with 10. Three of his four goals are game-winners. He has recorded a goal or assist in each of the last four games.
This is Nakazawa's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
