Arizona State was well represented this past Sunday. There currently are 16 former Sun Devils on NFL rosters and a few made major contributions to lead their teams to victory. Below are updates!
The former Sun Devil legends continued their stellar play in a recent defeat over the Cleveland Browns. Heap, continues to be a strong contributor to a surprising offense which currently ranks second in the NFL in points per game with 34.3. On the other hand, Suggs and his defensive mates once again are one of the top units current ranking in the top ten in points per game allowed.
This past Sunday, Heap recorded four receptions for 41 yards in a Ravens 34-3 victory. While consistently moving the chains, Heap now has 10 receptions for 124 yards, to go along with 2 touchdowns in the early season.
Suggs led the team in tackles, recording six, as the Baltimore Ravens beat the Cleveland Browns 34-3 in Baltimore. Suggs has looked good coming off an ankle injury in the preseason and continues to be an anchor for one of the most feared defenses in the NFL. The former All-American now has 382 career tackles.
The Ravens improve to 3-0 on the season and remain in first place in the AFC North. The Ravens look to continue their strong start to the season when they head to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Patriots.
This past Sunday, Zach Miller recorded two receptions for 17 yards and the Raiders fell to their division rivals the Denver Broncos 23-3. The Oakland Raiders are now 1-2 and are third place in the AFC West. Miller's receptions gives him 108 for his career.
