Dahan and Zerbini Get Two Wins at All-American Doubles Qualifier

TULSA, Okla. - California men's tennis juniors Pedro Zerbini and Jonathan Dahan won two matches in the men's doubles qualifying tournament of the D'Novo/ITA All-American Championship. In their first-ever match together, the Golden Bear tandem defeated Guillermo Gomez and Dean O'Brien of Georgia Tech, 8-4, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of host Tulsa University.
The pair later took out the 13th-seeded and No. 50-ranked team of Vijay Paul and Bryant Salcedo of Vanderbilt, 9-8; earning a 7-4 score in the tiebreaker. Dahan and Zerbini will face Texas A&M's Jeff Dadamo and Marcus Lunt Wednesday, Oct. 7, in a match not to begin before 1 p.m. CST for one of eight spots in the All-American Championship doubles main draw.
