WSU Men's Basketball to Hold Free Kids' Clinic

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University men's basketball team will hold a free kids' clinic for boys and girls grades kindergarten through sixth, Saturday, Oct. 31 from noon to 1:15 p.m.

The clinic will be held in the basketball practice gym, PEB 146, on the campus of Washington State University. Check-in for the clinic begins at 11:30 a.m. in Bohler Gym (just down the hall from PEB).

The Cougar Basketball Kids' Clinic will feature instruction by head coach Ken Bone and the entire 2009-10 team. The clinic will emphasize defensive and offensive fundamentals, sportsmanship and teamwork. All participants arriving before noon can catch the final 30 minutes of the Cougars' practice (11:30 a.m. to noon).

Following the clinic, the team will be on hand for an autograph session and the 2009-10 basketball posters will be available. Each participant will also receive a bag of Halloween candy.
