Cougars Set To It Tee Up At Alister MacKenzie

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State men's golf team will travel to Fairfax, Calif., next week to take part in the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, held at the par-71, 6,686-yard Meadow Club Golf Course...first-round tee times are scheduled to begin at 7:25 a.m., on Monday.
The Field: This is some of the toughest competition the Cougars have faced this season with three teams in the Golfstat top 25, including No. 2 Oregon State, No. 22 San Diego State and No. 24 Oregon...the rest of the 15-team field will include California, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Indiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, San Francisco, San Jose State, UC Irvine and Wisconsin.
Traveling For The Cougars: This week's WSU lineup will include seniors Kevin Tucker and Austin Hurt, junior Nick Ellis, sophomore Trent Sanders and freshman Hank Frame...this will be the fourth consecutive tournament for each of the competitors.
Last Time Out: Sanders earned his first collegiate victory at the Giustina Memorial Classic with a three-round total of 207 (-9)...the sophomore led the Cougars to a second-place team finish, ending the tournament nine strokes behind host school No.2 Oregon State, but finishing four strokes ahead of No. 24 Oregon.
