CORVALLIS, Ore. - Beaver Nation Online, the audio and video source for Oregon State Athletics, will carry the Oregon State Basketball Media Day press conference on Wednesday, Oct. 14, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Craig Robinson and LaVonda Wagner, along with selected players from both teams, will meet with the media to discuss the upcoming season and the official start of practice on Friday, Oct. 16.
New for the 2009-2010 academic year, Beaver Nation Online is the 'one-stop' option for both audio and video, hosted by CBS College Sports. There is live video action as well, as OSU provides among the best in-game production in the country for the nationally ranked baseball team (home games) with five-time Oregon Sportscaster of the Year Mike Parker calling the action. There is also enhanced live coverage this season for volleyball and for the second year wrestling.
Your subscription to all the action is $9.95 per month or $79.95 per year.
The Oregon State men's basketball team returns four starters from a team that completed one of the greatest single season turnarounds in the country last year as the Beavers captured the CBI postseason title and finished the year with an 18-18 record.
Meanwhile, the Oregon State women's squad is coming off a 20-12 season, the team's first year with 20 or more victories in more than a decade. The Beavers also made their second WNIT appearance under head coach LaVonda Wagner, who will be in her fifth year with the program in 2009-10.
