Husky Women Head To Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. - The Washington women's golf team will be tested this weekend against several of the top collegiate teams at the Stanford Intercollegiate, being held on the Stanford Golf Course from Friday through Sunday.
Four of top 10 teams in the nation will be in the field, including top-ranked USC, No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 Arizona State and No. 7 California. In addition, No. 12 Oklahoma State, No. 15 Stanford, No. 18 Denver and No. 25 Vanderbilt will be participating.
Washington, coming off a sixth-place finish at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, will put out a lineup consisting of senior Molly Aronsson, junior Anya Alvarez, sophomore Sadena Parks and freshmen Darcie Richmond and Brittany Tallman.
Alvarez was the Huskies top finisher in 10th place at the Ihlanfeldt tournament, which the team hosted at Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.
Washington golfers are slated to tee off tomorrow from Hole No. 1 starting at 8:30 and running through 9:06 a.m.
