Bruin Bloodline: Johnny Gray With An Update On The Middle Distance Runners
Oct. 16, 2009
Hello all in Bruinland! As you all know the track season is approaching fast. The middle distance group is training very well as we prepare for the upcoming track season.
We have Cory Primm, a junior out of Westlake High School, who at this time looks very good! I predict that Cory can and will run sub 1:46 in the 800m providing he stays healthy. I also feel that Cory will make a bigger impact in the mile this season as well.We also have a kid name Martin Mwangi, a redshirt freshman, who stands about 6'3 inches tall. At this time he is a 1:56 800m runner and about a four minute and change 1500m runner. He trains a lot bigger then his previous best performances and I feel that he is a diamond in the rough for our team.
We also have Marc Hausmaninger, who looks great after a year and a half layoff from an injury he suffered. As time passes, look for another prediction from myself.
