Alum Sanders to Appear on Celebrity Apprentice

NEW YORK-- What does Stanford alum and Olympic gold medalist Summer Sanders have in common with Cyndi Lauper, Sinbad or Rod Blagojevich?

According to the New York Post, all four will be a part of Donald Trump's reality show, 'Celebrity Apprentice' airing in March on NBC.

The two-time NCAA Swimmer of the Year in 1991 and 1992 and two-time gold medalist at the 1992 Olympics, also won six individual NCAA titles and was a part of four relay crowns at Stanford.

She went onto a career in broadcasting, which included hosting 'NBA Inside Stuff' with Ahmad Rashad since 1997.

The full slate of contestants include : Sanders, former Met Darryl Strawberry, singer Cyndi Lauper, former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich, 1980s television star Sinbad, Poison's Bret Michaels, Sharon Osbourne, actress Holly Robinson Peete, Seinfeld writer Carol Leifer, WWE wrestlers Maria Kanellis and Goldberg and Australian celebrity chef Curtis Stone.

Back on campus, the Cardinal will host their annual alumni meet on Homecoming Saturday, October 24 at 9 a.m. featuring alumni from both the men's and women's team. Sanders will not attend.
