My goals for this season are…
My goals for this season are to improve throughout the year, win a national championship in my hometown, and enjoy every moment along the way.

I would love to trade places for a day with…
I would like to trade places for a day with a crewmember from the set of The Office.

My favorite team to watch as a kid was…
My favorite team to watch as a kid was Scooby Doo and the Mystery Gang.

The talent I’d most like to have is…
The talent I’d most like to have is the ability to ride my bike with no hands.

The best thing about Stanford is…
My favorite thing about Stanford is its cooperative atmosphere. Everyone here- be it a peer, professor, or coach – wants to help make your Stanford experience as enjoyable and successful as possible.

My funniest teammate is…
I would never tell her this to her face, for fear of the never-ending battalion of jokes that would ensue, but I’d have to say my funniest teammate is Alex Fisher - only because the last thing you want to do after she tells a joke is laugh. Since any little chuckle would be a positive reinforcement to be regretted, the urge to laugh becomes even stronger. It’s similar to the idea of the forbidden fruit.

The sport I am the worst at is…
Judging from the fact that I am 6’3” and can hardly touch my toes on a good day, I’d guess that gymnastics would be my worst sport. I never gave it shot, so I can’t say for sure, but I’d bet on it.

Something about me that others would be surprised to hear is…
Something about me that others would be surprised to hear is that I have short parents.

My favorite volleyball memory is…
My favorite volleyball memory is making it to the Final Four tournament three years in a row and counting…

My biggest pet peeve is…
A pet peeve of mine is when people notice my height and make comments such as “You must play basketball!” Especially when I’m holding a volleyball in my hand and I’m wearing a T-shirt that has “Stanford Volleyball” written across the front in big font.

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to…
If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to Egypt to visit the pyramids.

The best advice I’ve received was…
