Cougar Basketball Announces 2009-10 Television Schedule

PULLMAN, Wash. - Coming off a third-straight postseason tournament appearance, Washington State University men's basketball can be seen on national and regional television a minimum of 14 times this season, Pacific-10 Conference commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday.
First-year head coach Ken Bone and his Cougar team make their season television debuts on FSN Northwest Nov. 16 against Eastern Washington in Pullman. WSU hosts one more nonconference TV game when Idaho comes to Friel Court Dec. 9. That game will also be on FSN Northwest.
Two of the Cougars' nonconference road games will be televised as well. The Dec. 2 meeting with Gonzaga in Spokane will be seen regionally on FSN Northwest and on KHQ in the Spokane area. WSU will make its first national television appearance of the season on ESPNU Dec. 5 when it takes on Kansas State in the Pac-10/Big 12 Hardwood Series.
At least nine of the Cougars' Pacific-10 Conference games will be televised, including five on the FSN national broadcast. Home games against Oregon State (Jan. 2), Arizona (Feb. 6) and Washington (Feb. 27) will be seen on FSN Northwest. The Cougars' game against UCLA in Pullman (Feb. 18) will be seen on FSN.
WSU's conference road opener at Arizona (Jan. 8) will be a regional FSN broadcast in the Northwest and Arizona. Four other Pac-10 road games will air nationally on FSN, starting with the Jan. 10 meeting with Arizona State. Back-to-back games at UCLA (Jan. 23) and at Washington (Jan. 30), as well as the game at California (Feb. 13) round out the national schedule.
The March 4 game at Oregon State and the March 6 game at Oregon are both listed as a wildcard games and may still be picked up for television by FSN and/or CBS.
The first eight games of the Pac-10 Men's Basketball Tournament, which takes place at Staples Center March 10-13, will be shown on FSN, while the championship game will air on CBS.
