TEMPE – The 2009-10 season for the Arizona State University wrestling team is getting closer each day with the Sun Devils’ first dual just over two weeks away and their first home competition exactly one month away. And for those supporters that are not only anxious to see the Sun Devils open the season, but also want to be close to the action, the program is announcing the creation of season tickets that will allow fans to sit mat-side.

With a $75 donation, fans not only will be able to have one of the best seats in the house, but also will be able to help support and grow the financial stability of Sun Devil Wrestling. Along with obtaining a pass to home competitions, those fans that purchase a season ticket also will receive a “Wrestling with the Devil” T-shirt.

This year, the Sun Devils will play host to one intrastate foe, two Pac-10 Conference opponents and two other teams that finished the 2008-09 season among the Top 10 nationally at the NCAA Championships. ASU will take on Grand Canyon on November 29 in a battle of teams from the Valley of the Sun before facing Nebraska (January 22) and Oregon State (January 31) in the month of January. The final two weekends of the regular season will see the Sun Devils playing host to Iowa State (February 7) and Stanford (February 14) before heading into the Pac-10 Championships and the NCAA Wrestling Championships.

The make your donation to the program and receive one of the best seats in the house, fill out the form located in the link at the top of the page and send it to the Sun Devil Wrestling office. Checks for your donation should be made out to the Sun Devil Club - Wrestling. For more information, please contact Bryan Snyder (head assistant coach) via email at bryansnyder@asu.edu.
