No. 10 California Plays at Turtle Bay

The No. 10 California Golden Bears women's golf team heads to Hawaii to compete at the Turtle Bay Resort College Invitational Nov. 2-4. The Turtle Bay tournament will be the final event on the fall schedule for the Bears.

The tournament will be held at the renowned Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku, O'ahu. The first two rounds will be played on the par-72 6,361 yard Palmer Course. Wednesday's third round will be played on the par-72, 6,261 yard George Fazio course.

The Bears, who fell to No. 10 in the latest Golfweek rankings, will compete in a field of 18 teams that includes BYU, Gonzaga, Hawai`i, Long Beach State, New Mexico State, Oregon State, Oral Roberts, San Diego State, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Oregon, Toledo, Tulsa, UC Davis, UCLA, USC, and Washington.

The Bears have two individuals ranked in the top-50. Junior Pia Halbig is currently ranked at No. 19 and sophomore Joanne Lee, playing in her first season for the Bears, is ranked at No. 34.
