Some Traffic Information For Tomorrow's Homecoming Game Vs. California

Several downtown Tempe streets will be closed or restricted on Saturday for the Walk to Cure Diabetes, ASU Homecoming and ASU vs. California Football Game. The main point of emphasis is to avoid using University Drive.

*A main closure is University Drive, with no traffic between Veterans Way and College Avenue beginning Friday at 10 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Oct. 31. It also will be closed between Mill Avenue and College Avenue in both directions from 2 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and between Rural Road and College Avenue in both directions from 2 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

*Rio Salado Parkway will be closed in both directions between Ash Avenue and Mill Avenue from 7 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m.

*Mill Avenue will be closed southbound between Washington Street/Curry Road and Rio Salado Parkway from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The eastbound Loop 202 exit ramp will be closed at Scottsdale Road from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. The ramp will be opened up as soon as possible following the Walk to Cure Diabetes for ASU Football Traffic.

All traffic exiting Loop 202 westbound at Scottsdale Road will be required to turn right onto northbound Scottsdale Road from 8:45 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. The ramp will be opened up as soon as possible following the Walk to Cure Diabetes for ASU Football Traffic.

Veterans Way will be closed in both directions from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. between 6th Street and College Avenue.

Westbound Rio Salado Parkway will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McClintock Drive as needed to control back-ups on Rio Salado Pkwy.
