Dawgs Arrive In Los Angeles
Nov. 6, 2009
LOS ANGELES - The Washington football team has settled into its hotel for the evening in preparation for its game tomorrow afternoon vs. UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
The Huskies' buses departed Bank of America Arena under rainy skies at about 12:30 p.m. Friday and the team plane left SeaTac Airport about an hour later.
After touching down at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, the team went directly to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, where they held a very brief walk-through. It was a clear, but relatively cool evening in the Arroyo Seco.
The team was treated to a dinner of In-n-Out Burgers, as a truck from the famous Southern California restaurant parked inside the gates of the stadium to dole out double-doubles to the players and staff.
After eating, the Huskies re-boarded the buses and, a little while later, arrived at their downtown Los Angeles hotel for an evening of meetings.
Tomorrow's game vs. UCLA kicks off at 12:30 p.m. and will air live in the Northwest (except for in Oregon) on FSN. Fans in Southern California can also watch on Prime Ticket and across the nation, viewers who subscribe to FCS-Central will also be able to watch on television. Of course, you can also catch the game on radio via the Washington ISP Sports Network and flagship station 950-KJR in Seattle, on XM satellite radio and here on gohuskies.com.
