Women's Soccer Earns No. 1 Seed in NCAA Tournament

LOS ANGELES - The bracket for the 64-team NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championships was released on Monday and for the third year in a row UCLA was awarded one of the four No. 1 seeds. Florida State, Stanford and North Carolina also earned top billing in this year's tournament.
With its top seeding, UCLA has earned the right to host first and second-round action at Drake Stadium this Friday and Sunday. The Bruins (17-2-1) open up the tournament against first-time participant Boise State (13-6-4) this Friday at 5:30 p.m. The other first-round match that day features San Diego State (14-3-5) taking on San Diego (12-6-2) at 8:00 p.m. Friday's winners will meet in the second round on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
Tickets for this weekend's matches are $9.00 for adults and $7.00 for youth/students.
