Game Times Announced for NCAA Tournament First and Second Rounds

BERKELEY - The game times for the first and second round games of the NCAA Tournament in Tallahassee, Fla., this weekend have been set, host school Florida State announced Tuesday. The Golden Bears (10-8-1) will play Auburn (10-8-3) at approximately 4 p.m. PST on Friday, Nov. 13 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the Seminole Soccer Complex.

Host and No. 1-seed Florida State will take on Southeastern Louisiana (13-4-2) at 1:30 p.m. PST prior to the Cal-Auburn game. The Cal-Auburn game will begin after a 30-minute warm-up following the conclusion of the FSU-Southeastern Louisiana game, no earlier than 4 p.m. PST.

The winner of the FSU-Southeastern Louisiana game will play the winner of the Cal-Auburn match-up on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. PST in Tallahassee, Fla.

The Bears finished out the regular season with a 10-8-1 overall record and closed their conference campaign at 4-5-0 to finish tied for sixth in the competitive conference. While this will only be the second meeting between the Bears and the Tigers in program history, the last time the two teams played each other was also in the NCAA Tournament and also in Tallahassee, Fla. Cal defeated Auburn, 3-1, to advance to the second round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament.

Friday, Nov. 13
Game 1: Florida State vs. Southeastern Louisiana - 1:30 p.m. PST
Game 2: Auburn vs. California - 4:00 p.m. PST

Sunday, Nov. 15
Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 - 10 a.m. PST
