MEN’S RECAP (41st annual)... The top-ranked STANFORD Cardinal captured their 11th Pac-10 title and first since 2005. Sophomore Chris Derrick led the way for the Cardinal as he took top individual honors by clocking a Pac-10 Championships record time of 22:35.  Overall, Stanford placed six runners among the top 12 finishers in tallying 28 points to edge OREGON (45 points).

WOMEN’S RECAP (24th annual). . . The top-ranked WASHINGTON Huskies successfully defended their Pac-10 title by narrowly edging out OREGON. The Huskies placed three runners among the top five, including sophomore Kendra Schaaf (2nd), to post 35 points. Oregon senior Nicole Blood captured individual honors to lead the Ducks to 42 points. Only three other races in Pac-10 Championships history were decided by fewer than seven points.
