Beavers Are Back in the Top 25

CORVALLIS - The Oregon State football team returned to the national polls, for the first time since ranking No. 24 in the USA Today poll going into Week 3, on Sunday, when the Beavers checked in at No. 20 in the Associated Press Poll and at No. 20 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Beavers are 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the Pac-10 Conference and trail Oregon by one game for the league lead. OSU has won three straight games and and five out of six in the months of October and November. The Beavers are already bowl eligible and remain in the hunt to play in the 95th annual Rose Bowl Jan. 1 in Pasadena.
Oregon State is coming off a 48-21 win Saturday against Pacific Northwest rival Washington, in a game where running back Jacquizz Rodgers became the OSU's fifth runner to boast multiple 1,000-yard seasons and quarterback Sean Canfield set a career-high with four touchdown passes.
The Beavers travel to the Palouse to face the Washington State Cougars this Saturday at Pullman, Wash.
