Lisa Kevorkian Named a Primetime Performer of the Week

BERKELEY - For her performance against Auburn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, redshirt junior forward Lisa Kevorkian was named a College Soccer 360 Primetime Performer of the Week.
Kevorkian netted a golden goal to propel to the California women's soccer team to a 2-1 overtime win over Auburn on Nov. 13 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Florida State's Seminole Soccer Complex.
After the Bears had taken five shots in the first seven minutes of overtime, Kevorkian put away the goal and game off a cross from Morgan from five yards. The score was Kevorkian's fifth game-winning goal and her eighth goal overall this season.
Thanks to Kevorkian's score, the Golden Bears advanced to the second round to take on No. 1-seed Florida State on Nov. 15.
This is Kevorkian's third accolade from CS360. She was also recognized as a primetime performance for the week of Sept. 2-7 after she scored the gamewinning goal in the 1-0 win over Texas A&M (Sept. 4) and she had an assist in the 4-2 victory against Texas (Sept. 6). After she headed in a goal in the 98th minute versus Arizona State to give the Bears a 2-1 overtime win, Kevorkian was also named a primetime performer of the week.
